We are offering full time, part time and mini jobs.

At the moment (February 23) we are only looking for staff for the kitchen, no longer for service.

If you think that you would be a great fit for us, but the right position is not currently available, you are welcome to send us an application anyway. We will then get back to you and clarify whether we can use you after all, or see whether we can get together when we search again. Since Plantenköök is still young and is therefore constantly growing, there is always a further vacancy coming up soon.

Sous chef and cooks

We are looking for kitchen staff for our plant based restaurant Plantenköök in the heart of Bremen, Germany. Currently we are lokking for a sous chef as well as one or two cooks. The position of sous chef is not available immediately, but only after a few months of working together.

Our restaurant stands for surprising, unusual, vegan cuisine, with which we enchant our guests with creative, sophisticated dishes. We place a clear focus on sustainability and holistic management by primarily working with regional and seasonal ingredients.

Your tasks:

  • Together with the rest of the team you ensure the culinary experience of the guests

  • With your experience and expertise in preparing food, you ensure consistent quality.

  • Our menu changes monthly and everything is homemade. Your work will consist of the preparation in advance as well as the preparation of our dishes. According to the recipes of the current menu.

  • The work in our kitchen is very varied due to the changing menu.

Whar we enjoy about you:

  • You have a passion for purely plant-based dishes and a preference for seasonal, regional products.

  • You don’t have to be a trained chef, because we know that culinary school is not possible for many vegan people. However, you have professional experience in gastronomy, especially in the kitchen and ideally you have already worked with vegan dishes.

We are currently not looking for any further employees in the service area. However, our restaurant is constantly growing and we are expanding the opening hours.
